I’ve built Base Pelvic Health to be the space I wish everyone had: a safe, supportive environment where we can talk openly about the "uncomfortable" stuff

My mission is to replace stigma with knowledge and fear with confidence.

Let’s build your base, together.

I have worked in a variety of settings throughout my career, but my focus for over a decade has been on pelvic health. I like working one-on-one with patients, helping them get clear on their pelvic health goals while approaching sensitive conversations with empathy and curiosity. The impact and pervasiveness of pelvic health symptoms on someone’s quality of life can have such a huge impact. When patient’s ask me why I chose pelvic physiotherapy - it’s helping people, often suffering in silence, find hope and reconnect with the activities and people they love symptom free.

Outside of my work I’m a mother to two young boys, a lover of movement and an avid reader. I grew up in the world of competitive dance and reconnected with my love of dance through salsa dancing in my 20’s. Strength training, CrossFit and road biking are some of my favourite ways to move. I’m Mat Pilates certified and incorporating strengthening into my practice is non-negotiable.

Experiencing pregnancy and navigating postpartum recovery only strengthened\ my understanding of the importance of pelvic health. Even with all of the knowledge and skills at my disposal, the postpartum period was challenging and I’ll forever be grateful for the help I had along the way.

I’m the Registered Physiotherapist behind Base Pelvic Health. I’m passionate about pelvic health and the integral role it plays in our wellbeing. Breaking down the stigma that often surrounds pelvic health I strive to make pelvic physiotherapy feel accessible to everyone.
